Hey, didn’t the HT/HK have like circles embossed intro he glove box lid?
It did make a good table.
Yep.
But they weren't cup holders. Your beer cans could slide off the lid, and spill on the expensive vinyl floor coverings under the extreme cornering and braking forces generated by these magnificent vehicles.
The older I get the better my cars were.

They were okay to put your tinny on, while you rolled a ciggy, while watching the local footy or cricket team. :)

My Aunt used to sit the aluminum stacker cups on the glove box lid of the HR and pour a drink of water cordial or if we were lucky fizzy cordial. Try doing that on a VE.

Probably no console on a HR Special but I do think the cups lived in the car in their leather case.

Was a great workhorse.
6 cylinder auto, and I wonder what it would be worth today?
