i have meaured my whole exhaust but ands its all stock even the mufflers yet it has a nice note? and its not loud but sounds really nice, so im not sure whats been done to make it sound like that but i will get the dynos and then see if it makes stock power, best way to check

fair enough...thanks mate.

i have an exforce cat back...the Varex unt...and i just wanna make her louder and been told that aftermarket headers make it sound louder and more agressive...
but my theory is the stock HSV headers are quiet loud for stock...

anybody know if a Stock HSV exhaust system (headers mid pipe and mmufflers) are louder then a stock SS or SSV ?

I have a set of factory hsv headers fitted to my VE SS with dual 3" and hiflo redback cats. dont underestimate the factory stuff. I have now reached the limits of the factory headers so im extending the secondarys with a 3" collector. It should make a nice change.

btw..with the HSV headers, how do they sound ? or did u install in one hit ?

the reason for this is coz my setu0p is stock headers and cats, and xforce varex cat back...sounds a tad too smooth.
and hear heaps of 8 running round and they sound beefy to mine :(
