Been pig hunting plenty of times.. Never done it barefoot though mate..

Nah, I have more problem with broken glass around town than barefoot in the bush, I hate people who smash glass with a passion. Crazy is good with roo stalking. Long story short, get someone to act crazy around 400 yards away downwind and roos watch and smell but don't move. You can then sneak up and hit them with a rifle butt coming upwind. It's quite a hit getting so close you could almost touch them.

Best place to hunt is in private farms . I've done that with my bow .many farmers will gladly let you kill rabbits and goats for them . It's just a matter of doing a bit of a door knock on those farms

There is literally millions of acres of state forests around that you can hunt in, all you need is your R license which is quite simple to get then you ring up the appropriates, tell them the area of land you wish to book out between what times and dates and there you have it your own private legal hunting ground.
Much closer to home than you would have imagined.

Too bad your not in VIC, they have a $10 a scalp bounty on foxes. Wouldn't take much effort with a few mates and a few properties to make a couple hundred bucks in a weekend having some fun.
