So yeah, I just got a 3" catback (X-force) installed into my VF SSV Redline S2 today. Before the install, it would crackle a little when I turned it on (which I liked), it also had a bit of a deeper note to it and changed pitches when I drove or even rev in idle. Now after the install, it's just a constant tone the whole way and I don't have that crackle anymore.

I thought putting this catback on I'd have a deeper and louder sound but I think it was deeper before.

Any suggestions on how to get the deep sound back? Change mufflers? Get a cam? Etc etc

sorry, that was a reference to it is just going BRRRRR

one thing i've always heard about x-force is they generally have 0 character just loud.
Ahhh that's really annoying, if I knew that I would've skipped x force. Do you know any brand that has a bit of character to it? A bit more of a growl

Anything else....

Depends on your budget. With exhausts though, it's generally not the more you spend the better you get, but the cheapest is usually the nastiest.

Manta, Sureflo, DPE (owned by Manta now), Hurricane, Pacemaker. In order of preference.

Ah okay, so only way to get my deep sound back would be to put a cam in?
