Illegal Tint void insurance?

Can you not read your policy or ring your insurance company rather than ask on a forum?

I often wonder if those that ask these type of questions then get the answers they want to hear, get caught and use as their defence "well on Just Commodores they said blah blah so you are wrong"

I had 'illegal' tint on my ute and when i went to sell it the ####s would not pass the roadworthy test cause of the tint...
Ended up finding a bloke to pass it for me though...So keep this in mind..

Coming from someone who has legal 5% on my van so I can comment from experience... that's the stupidest advice I've ever heard. Good one, drive around with an illegal and dangerous car. You might as well drive with sunglasses at night. Muppet.

It's definitely all round 35% in NSW, I'm not sure about Victoria, but I believe the law applies to all states and territories (don't hold me to that).

Just go the darkest legal mate. It really aint worth the pain in the arse if you get caught or the risk of having an accident. They're just windows, it really doesn't matter that much. Reward doesnt fit the risk.
