Im jus bout to do a ly7 swap in vz 2005 i have 2006 ve ly7 lined up there both have h7f on yhe engine tag can anyone help on this

Any LY7 is fine to swap. Dont get caught up in engine codes.

Use your engine harness and swap your sensors over. You need to use your ECM.
Keep the other engine harness as a spare and rat the old engine of accessories, sensors etc as spares.

Also get the sump off as well while the motor is out. Make sure the pickup is all clean.
