hi all,

ok im stuck as to where to go now, i've got the exhaust and got the CAI, i was considering getting roller rockers but found out they don't really do much for the 5L (6's and LS1 gain well though:bang: ), so now im stuck:unsure:

i got mags and FE2 and the brakes are still pulling me up nicly so im leaving that for the moment and wana focus on the engine/drivetrain so i can get this hog movin a bit better.
future plans are to stroke to 355 and eventualy slap a charger on but thats alot of money so for now i just wanna prep it up so when that wonderful day does come im not going to blow it first day, also want it to be daily driven.

anyway what should my next steps be...

well if you are gonna stroke it and blow it i suggest you just save all your money for that :). Maybe get some 3.7 or 3.9 Diff Gears in there , that will help with your low end power.

thats not happening for a while though, probably get started on that next year, in the mean time though i wouldn't mind strengthing things up.

diff gears i've been very keen on for some time it's just i wouldn't know where to get it done:(
also i'd be keen to get a aftermarket computer for it but not sure weather to get it before or after stroking it.

Get a stage two shift kit, 3,000 stall, Trick Shift Performance's own twin throttle bodie manifold and a line locker for fun.

Why the hell do people go these stupidly high stalls? I refuse to change from my stocky, car has enough to get it up and going anyway.

completely off topic, but seeing you have a 195i motor does your V.I.N have a different letter for the engine type. i.e 5L (holden motor) is M, V6 is H.

Build your car for more torque and don't rely on a stally to get you off the line in a hurry, hi-stall for an everyday car is just stupid in my opinion.

wasn't relly considering a hi-stall anyway unless i need to have it, judging by what minux said i doubt i'll need one anytime soon, what can an auto specialist do to get it going better?

keep the susgestions flowing people all advice is appreiciated (sp), thanks again.
