Stuck in gear

I have a 2009 sv6 ve commodore 213,000k . Timing chain recently done and transmission service . Issue im having now is car keeps getting stuck in 2nd or 3rd gear ( automatic) im wondering if it is a transmission sensor , it wont get stuck if you keep your foot down but we have alot of road works at the moment so stop and go is frequent. I have to pull over put in park then go off again and it comes right. Any ideas please?

Has the transmission been serviced?
(that you know of?)
At 213,000k, I would say it’s getting tired,
Could even be a bit low on fluid,
Maybe get it serviced, and obtain a report on it,
As it maybe due for a service, repairs, or replacement.
Service possibly $200 > $300,
Repair possibly $2,000 > $3,000
Rebuild and replacement $4,000 > $5,600.

Hi yup serviced at 211,000k , ill take her back in for another look at it, no fault codes either coming up , other than this the car runs well, omce we get past 2nd 3rd gear
