Do they have versions for VE's and VF's?
I'm really happy with the performance of the LED high beams in my Redline and Magnum.
Not that I use high beam much, the HID low beams really work well!
Yeah they do. If you're happy with the LED though I wouldn't bother. I had to use HID in the VY due to the aftermarket projectors not accepting any quality LED, whereas I went Stedi LED in the Bimmer for beam pattern matching. Both are an amazing upgrade over halogen equally as good

Is the HID light output instantaneous when switched on, or do they take a while to warm up?
The eBay version is at full brightness within approx. 5 seconds. So, they are not ideal for high beam. My experience has been that it's better to have an Osram Night Breaker or something similar in the high beams. LEDs look bright, but the light is usually blue-ish and hence do not go the distance. More annoyingly, the road signs, lines etc. light up like Christmas lights. That becomes a big problem for me quickly.

That's why you don't buy junk LED. I guarantee you if you put these in a VF you wouldn't be anything other than stoked at the improvement. 5700k, won't bother the can, spot on beam pattern and more than double the throw

I'm using JW Speaker H9 LED's in two of my utes, 6000K color temp. excellent in high beams.

they are using a good can module for the h7, not the resistor type so they have put some thought into the product, price is a bit wild but it is what it is.

I'm running HIDs on the low beams and a nighteye cob for the Highbeams and are quite happy with the results.

The HIDs go really well in the projector housings. Nice clean cutoffs. I just wish they still make the 4300k version.
Really glad i didn't go through the Narva route after seeing sub optimal results on the forum.

Would be keen to give the Stedi's a go when the Ballast give out. seem to have a very nice design.

Seconder for the AEI HIDs. Hardly any warm up on low beam. I also have them in the fogs, but not the high beams.

I think these cars are actually fairly sophisticated and are better left stock. Any alteration electronically to equipment simply has a domino effect and is not worth the trouble. They where built to a high standard in the first place with a high level of equipment so why mess with them. Thats my take anyway.
