just wanted to know if anyone can shed some light for me

i currently have a 2.5 defillipo exhaust system , now i wanted to cut the noise down as its starting to kill my ears and get some bi modal mufflers and the EXESS vac wiring module kit ..

i was looking at these mufflers on eBay - just wanted to know if anyone can confirm if they are 2.5 standard or 2.25 ? would the flange bolt up to my current flange , i asked the ebay seller and they believe it is 2.5 but i honestly thought hsv were 2.25 from factory ?

any help would be appreciated . thanks

If they are off a Gen-F HSV, they should be 2.5" pipe diameter. All 325/340kw versions are 2.5".

The 317kw E series used the 2.25" pipe size.

is there any way of knowing by the look of them ? they aren't as boxy as most of the mufflers iv seen lately that are standard

if it was 2.25 would it still bolt up ? or is the flange bigger

i just spoke to someone selling the same looking mufflers off an R8 VF although this had the clamp instead of flange and said it is 2.5 so i may be in the clear to purchase this .
