Here again for a similar issue regarding The instrument cluster,
So basically i Was cruising on my WL, just Stopped on a traffic light and notice the Instrument Was totally dead But the Indicator And the High beam Lights were turning on when i used those but no Response from the speedometer , is the Integrated Chip Completely fried or something else? Can’t afford to buy a new speedo or wreck one at this time, here’s a picture of it

To clarify, is it just the screen that’s not working? The tacho and speedo seem to work.
Is that a reflection or is the screen all crystallised like that?

Righto.
You can get the cluster repaired. Or you can buy a refurbished one. $200-$300 for one. It will need to be set up for your car, so factor in a cost of about $150 for that.

I don’t know if refurbished clusters include a few to set up for your car.

There are a few places that do it. Injectronics and specialised cluster/instrument repair places do it. Some eBay sellers also selling refurbished units.

Might be a good chance to get the WL level four cluster for it.

It could also be fixed at home if you are skilled with small electronics. You’d need new parts to solder in and a screen to replace that one with.
