[VIC] Insurance worries

So I have a 2006 ve v (optioned omega) and have lowered it, tinted windows, 19" ssv alloys, and swapped the front bar with an SS one, or SV6, some one hit me front on. Being as its nothing fault I made a claim. It's booked in Thursday to have the bumper, reo, radiator support and head lamp replaced. Iv been through insurance the assessor has had a look and it's all fine and authorized. However I'm wonderingif they go off the vin number if an old bumper that originated on the vehicle will be installed instead of the sv6 one currently on there. Anyone been in this situation or know what will happen? Cheers

Were they aware of the swap? Was it on your policy? If not your getting a stock omega front end mate.

Yes it's listed with a "sports body kit"

But do they go off the vin? Both my assessor and my repairer took photos and took quotes and didn't say anything about an aftermarket bumper, in all honesty I think they though the v series came with this bumper. So I presume they quoted the same bumper

Mate, Stress less. They'll replace the bumper that's on the car.

So I got my car back today pretty happy, new reo new head light. New bumper, polished fog lights, n pretty decent colour match,.. It just looks different now for some reason. It looks lower n more beefy but I just can't tell what it is, can anyone see the difference? Or is it just me?

They might have chopped the springs whilst it was in there?

Looks the same as before to me.
