I had a (what Holden Called it) "1992 VN S-Pack Wagon Update",
It was a 1992 S-Pack Wagon (in Alpine White) with VP Running Gear, (Refined Engine and Transmission) and drove very well, considering the first VN (1989) was a bit of a lemon I had heard.
I had it for 5 years and did 160,000 k's in it,
Another one of my Work Cars I travelled Victoria in,
The only thing I had replace was the Diff, which was done at Approx. 140,000 k/s, was a bit noisy on the Murray Valley Highway travelling to and back from Mildura.
Then traded it in at Reg Hunt Holden in Gardenvale.
A number of years after I was working down in Geelong and had to park in a side street [Little Ryrie St) behind the site where I was working,
And noticed a nice-looking S-Pack Wagon down the street, I went to have a look at it,
bugger me dead, it was my old Car, still have the same rego plates on it, and it still looked in reasonable condition,
It did have approx. 300,000+ k's on it, I had to do a double take, as it still looked fairly tidy for a car of that age and k's.
I did check the registration of it a little while ago, and was cancelled, and recently, and came up "Record Not Found"

I think I still have the advertising brochure for the VN in the filing cabinet.

I will have to dig out and old copy of Street Machine with an artists impression pre release of what the vn will.look.like.
Well I knew it would happen , I started looking for it and got side tracked and started reading other articles. Have over 100 street machine , commodore, and other magazines from 1960 to present day so it will be a slow process.

I had a quick look for it, and found the brochure for VS Commodore,

I will have a better look tomorrow,
But I cannot promise anything, as I did have a clean out a few years ago,
and I like to hoard things like that, but my Wife doesn't.
