Is a SSV front bumper a direct fit on a Calais?

I am thinking of putting a SSV front end on my Calais, as it looks a lot sportier (never liked the Calais front)

Is it a direct replacement, just fit, plug in lights and go?

Not having done it I'm always hesitant to say "YES" confidently; but I've read that you can fit the front bumper (including all trim & the grille too - you can't keep the trims & grille you currently have).

What about plasti-dipping the Calais grille like they did with the Director? I think the de-chroming makes a big difference to appearance, if you're not a Chrome Fiend.
