Well, when I traded my VX it had 148000 on the clock , in good condition , was given $6000 as trade , might be alright , have you seen the car in the flesh , or just in photos .

I paid $6500 plus a trade in, I would suss out the vehicle first before making any decisions, you can never be to sure!

Seems a good price, but it's an 8 year old car so it's not ridiculously cheap. Cars are hard to sell right now so maybe the owner want it gone now rather than stuffing around with buyers for 3 months for an extra grand or two

I agree, and don't forget, in another 3 months, it will be another year older, besides, with the introduction of the VF with all the bells and whistles not to mention price reductions, everything becomes cheaper.

Watch out if there's finance owing on it. Make sure if you proceed you get a REVS certificate before handing any money over.

VE Omega sedan 3.0 2010
In 2011, I sold my 2005 VZ Executive sedan 3.6, 4-speed auto, with 139,000 on the odo.
The only extras were a tow-bar, and some 15" mags. The tyres were OK, and it had a few months' rego.
The standard radio was on the blink.
The BCM was on the way out - intermittent failure to start - common with VZ after five years, and costs $1,100 to replace.
I explained this to the purchaser, and allowed a suitable discount.
I was happy to take $5,000 for it.

If you're buying a VZ - if the BCM hasn't been replaced, then maybe (probably ?) it will have to be replaced soon, and so you factor that $1,100 in.

Even so, my VZ was a great car, and my family & I got a lot of happy motoring out of it.
