Had a bit of a tinker tonight.

Ignore the botch job with the plastic, its only a mark one template, this stuff isn't as strong as i thought it was, and it flexes a bit.

The original plan was to mount it flush with the face of the console, then fix it in place and smooth the lot over with body filler, then paint it. Similar in setup to this;

But as a play around, I pushed it back at an angle, as has been done before;

Undecided. Opinions?

Took this to a track day the other weekend, had a bit of a ball. My "ghetto go-pro" didn't end up working, so no videos were taken. Started lapping at 1:21, had it down to low 1:15 by the end of the day. The car probably had more in it, but my power steering was hating me pretty bad, the brakes were smoking, and the 19's aren't ideal for track work.

Finally got the time (and the right tools), to finish this up. Still not 100% with the finish, and it needs to be wired up! but there's a big car show on next weekend and I wanted it in for that.
