thought today i might do a bit of DIY stuff to my car, so i decided to go with the blue led gearselector lights. it actually turned out better than i thought (but the light doesnt shine though the red "R", will fix that up later)

need feedback on my car.

blue leds: well the existing light that brightens the numbers, it was blown. so i decided to wire up a blue led.

take the gearselector surround off, took the letter plate off, scraped the rubber/silicon off, then used thinners on the black paint, got enough off to get the white lettering off, but not too much rubbing to get the black paint off.

note: if anyone is going to attempt this conversion, please take your time doing the scraping and dont rush it. also if anyone needs the resistor codes, please ask.

Nice Vn, it looked to me as if you had a VS front on there though?

The kit suits it well BTW. :) Get a bigger exhaust tip for it.

BTW, that blue wagon in the garage looks nice. What is it? Hq/j/x/z ?
