We could only hope...I mean, imagine a PRODUCTIVE workforce in this country once again where you could not get compensation for being warned 3 times for safety breaches and where employers were not forced to re-instate such employee's.

We can only dream.

Not a union man minux.

Despite my severe disappointment with Gillard I simply cannot support an overtly religious political leader. While I would rather no carbon tax I don’t think the ultimate consequences will be as dire as the opposition claim. I also don’t necessarily believe it is the way to force industry to clean up their act,. For the majority will simply pass on the extra costs to us. For all the claims of misleading the public, saying one thing and doing the other , c’mon. The libs did the same thing with the GST which in my opinion was far worse. Oh and don’t forget Work Choices. I seriously dont want my kids to have to deal with that kind of industrial relations policy now they are close to joining the workforce

I would actually like to vote for some joke party , i.e. all the rest , but that is actually how we ended up in this situation,. By not giving either major party a clear majority they were forced to get into bed with the independent loons. Running a country by allowing representatives of individual electorates a far larger say than their votes were worth is not a way to govern. I hope above all, whoever wins the next election do so with a good majority that will marginalise the likes of the nihilist greens and all the other independents.

Howard took the GST to an election

Although he did say he would never have GST before that. I guess he changed his mind huh. And as they barely scraped in and also had to use other parties to get it through it was hardly a mandate. I rekon the people who voted Democrat didn’t think they were voting for it.

If Gillard did the same thing I or many other voters would not have an issue with it. She did say multiple times THERE WOULD BE NO CARBON TAX UNDER A GOVERNMENT I LEAD. That is nothing like what John Howard did. She did not take this to an election.

Also, what the hell does Tony Abbotts religion have to do with anything? Has he stuffed it down our throats? No. TA does so much more in the public eye than any other polly. Yet people like yourself are afraid of him. The Labor propaganda has worked well.

Nope. Unions of today are nothing but political tools who do nothing for workers. They promote unproductive workforces and can too easily bring down a business. Unions do jack squat for workers unless they plan to make something from it all.

Why do the greens want people in electric cars? I mean you need electricity and lots of it to keep them going lol. The Greens should be forced to use the name they started with, Socialist Party of Australia.

Yep a pollie lied. News to the world! Your pin up boy joined in his mates lie about Saddam Hussein and WMDs in Iraq and took us to war over it. Don’t pretend lying is the unique domain of any political party.
Also, what the hell does Tony Abbotts religion have to do with anything?
I have no time for religion and do not like the idea that those who lead us may use any part of it in any part of policy making. ie abortion, euthanasia etc. Their morals or the ones they have had thrust upon them through religion should remain their own personal domain.

TA does so much more in the public eye than any other polly. Yet people like yourself are afraid of him. The Labor propaganda has worked well.
What?!
What does he do?
Where did I say I am afraid of him?
What am I afraid of?

For the record I am not a “labor voter”. I have voted according to my assessment of political parties, individuals and their policies in the past and will in the future. Unfortunately neither have much going for them at the moment.
