just having a look thru your build thread..
tips for bleeding in brakes is to scuff them up on concrete before you put them in..

Yeah i took them out and scuffed them up. Also used some CRC de-squeak on the rotors. It helped a little bit. But there is still brake squeal when the brakes are cold.
In other news,There is now a T5 manual conversion sitting in the garage awaiting a rebuild and a clutch. good times ahead.
In the meantime Ive also got a corvette servo waiting to go in the TH700 when i get time.
How'd you get the rear wheel arches going man?
Looking good.
To fix the brake squeel take the pads out and cut a groove diagonally across the pad with a hacksaw. This usually works
-1mm thick galv sheet metal,
-a sheet metal folder-thing-apparatus (was at highschool),
-cardboard (cardboard is the best stencil/template material ever),
-angle grinder with a 1mm cutting disk,
-lots of time with a spot welder,
-lots of time fitting, removing, modifying until they were a proper fit. then:
-rivets, touch up paint
-sikaflex
-trolleystrips from a wrecker special
And then guess what? After all of that.. THEN I found out that the VP calais' came out with those as standard!
