hi guys when i use the buttons on my key it opens the door and disconnects the immobiliser for 30 seconds as it should, but if I unlock the door and dont make the 30 second time limit the immobiliser cuts back in as it should, but I always thought that inserting the key and turning it on should disconnect the immobiliser as well but it doesnt so I have to push unlock on the key again to start the car. Any ideas???

It sounds like a problem with either the key, key reader or its wiring. Check and clean the slip ring around the barrel, also check that the two contacts on the keyfob are clean and tight. The key reader earths down through the ignition key and barrel, so also check the contact that touches the metal part of the key where it scews into the fob.
