Miki,
I'm running superlows in the front of my VE and Lows in the rear. I did this after changing springs a few times to get a decent similarity in the top of the tyre to botton of guard gap front to rear because if you run the same springs front and rear it aligns the bottom of the sill horozontally with the ground and you get a car that looks alot higher at the front than at the back when looking side on. Some guys want that and thats fine but it wasnt for me.
Probably what you were more asking about was scraping and stuff. Well with the superlows in the front I have a nice gap over the top of the tyre on the factory 19's however because the chin of the front bar sits so low naturally on my series 2 VE i've kaned it heaps of times in parking spots, the driveways with the curvy guttering etc. it also lowers the car to the point where i scrape underneath, either the cats and or sills if im going over a crested driveway or similar.
This with kings superlows in the front and lows in the rear. I could only imagine the Ultralows would be an absolute prick scraping wise. I'm not going to change mine as it looks and drives fantastic, you just have to be extracareful on the front end and accept that your going to scrape sometimes.
Thanks Flyer. I'm thinking 20's are a must mate. Do peddles use their own brand?
Anyone with experience with super lows I would appreciate feedback from. I'm now thinking ultra low could be painfull.
