why do you want to keep the 808 ecu?

you'll need a different map sensor and tune to suit, to handle boost

Stick the VS gear in and get VATS removed via mail order, job done.

VS L67
Comes down to what box you are going to run and if you want sequential injection and a few other niceties that come with the later ECU.

If you are planning on running a 4l60e you will need to update the ECU to a later model. If you are running the VP box you can stay with the 808 and change to a 2 bar map sensor and have it retuned to suit.

If it were me I would use a 396 ECU and a VT loom and have the ECU tune changed to a L67 tune file.
