Morning team.
07 ssv l98, cammed. with ls7 lifters
long story short. as this whole builds been a headache lol.
mechanic cammed my car, advanced cam timing 4deg. (no idea why- as per spec sheet is fine)
went for tune but had check engine light for (timing out).
so i told him, to put it back to 0, or what ever the sheet says.
now my lifters tick pretty loud on cold starts for 3-5 seconds. (coincidence?)
rang the place that sold me the lifters, they said use 10w40 penrite..
that made no difference at all.
any ideas?
is there preloads to adjust when setting timing from 4 back to 0.
are the lifters just faulty?
they're pretty loud and embarrassing to be honest lol.
