I believe he was talking about the DRL LED's glare not HID's. and I've never had a problem with glare from DRL LED's but that doesn't mean it won't annoy anyone else.

True each to there own I gess 
I actually really like DRL's on cars I never use to like them but yeah I gess they grew on me. And yeah I've never had a problem with "glare" from other cars DRL's to be honest I never notice them unless I fully stair at on coming traffic and how often does anyone do that and if they do its obviously there own falt haha.
