Ve international 3.0L LF1 sidi vvt
H I all I'm wanting to know exactly what I need to swap my 09 lf1 3l ve international over to a 2011 llt 3.6l in this picture. It has the headers and torque converter already attached also the harness but its choped where the fused box was

Well it will fit and the transmission will bolt up but you might have to play with the exhaust where it joins to the header but I don't know how much playing around it is as it could be straight forward where they join and probably is.

Next big problem is yes you have the harness and all wreckers cut them at the fuse box that is no biggie but the plugs on that harness go to a different type of ECU as to what runs the LF1.

You could probably get a LLT ECU with the BCM and key and immoboliser as a set of Ebay or a wrecker and that might be enough to get it running.

Any verification that this engine will be a direct drop in? An lf1 is a lf1 right?
