suspended licence means just that, its suspended, you cant use it for how ever long, ie, dont have to sit any tests again.

if its cancelled, then youve gotta sit your ps again i think, like going back to being on your l's

so you would have to do the hours again for the log book?

Learners for me, had to wait till this year as i had a shocking year health wise last year... I'm happy I can drive at all!

unrestricted HC (heavy combination). unrestricted meaning you can drive any gearbox. and R (motorcycle). i was only on my p's a few months and went straight to my MR (medium rigid, bus license).

If it's cancelled for some offences you go to court and apply to get a licence restoration order, that puts you back onto the same type of licence, same licence number, etc as you had in the past but you may have some restrictions (zero blood alcohol, etc)

Got my licence in 1974,cost me eighteen bucks,2 for booking fee,4 for the test and 12 for 3 years licence.
