Hi All, i am currently in the process of fitting the engine and extractors to my VH, now it had a VT roller engine in it and i had a set of pacemakers PH 5700 headers, now all i have done is sent the headers away to get hpc coated and now i am fitting the new donk which was out of a VR Clubbie i have no chance of fitting them babies in, surly they should fit there is no angle change in the heads or starter in a different position between the 2 models? i thought the only difference was roller cam and sequential injection??? the only reason i can think of is the collector flanges were welded on after the headers were fitted the 1st time but now they look all pretty and hpc coated i dont really want to cut them off unless i totally have to even tho a inch less coating down that far wont matter much, im just wondering if anyone else has had trouble fitting efi headers to there old girl???

ive got 10-12mm clearance on the passenger side chassis rail and a bit of clearance on the steering rack.....no real issues with them fitting into posistion

I got it sorted lads, cheers for the replys, it was the flanges that were fitted after to the headers that were fouling on the chassie rails, there is not much room around them bad boys thats for sure, a few scratches in me new painted engine bay im not pleased about but will get that touched up at a later date
