Loose water pump pulley alloytec

Hey just noticed a slight belt squeal noise at idle so investigated further and noticed about 5mm of play in the water pump pulley. The pulley bolts appear tight so does this mean the pumps about to go? No coolant leaks yet!

Yup, it's a sure sign the pump's close to failure.

Thanks for that. I have only owned the car a week and already it's been plagued with check engine warnings and esp switching off randomly problems. It's going back to the dealer for some diagnostics on Tuesday so I'll add the water pump to the list of issues that need fixing. I'm thinking I've unfortunately bought a lemon.
