There will probably be a bit more loss than with normal speaker wire, as the material probably won't be as conductive.
Still, awesome setup.
Also, did you coat the wires with some form of anti-rust formula? Scrubbing the wires with steel wool will take off the surface rust but if there's alot of moisture in the air, the rust will come back in the scratches made by the steel wool unless you have sealed the outside with something.
Seems like you've put alot of work into the PC setup, I love it. I was considering something like that, but I was also thinking of putting a second fan in the actual glove box lid sucking air in. That way, I have air going in and coming out, constant airflow is awesome for keeping the temperature regulated.
