Hey guys,
I’m wanting to lower my VF SV6 On the rears as I like the car to sit on the same level or just lower at the back but I want to know if it is possible before I go out and Splurge a certain amount of money

Currently I have the car riding on 22’ staggered Marcellos with a 265 profile on the rear and I am not sure if it’s possible for me to drop it lower. I’m not looking to make its ass touch the floor but more so the car is in the same level rather than slightly higher on the rear.

Have decided to go with springs just because it’s cheaper and maybe down the line I’ll upgrade to coils but I’m more worried if it’s possible by rolling the guard and still have the wheels not scrape.

Also wheels look disgusting right now because I have yet to get them repainted silver and gutter rashes fixed. Always wanted a big car with a phat ass that sits low on some phat tyres, just a childhood dream really. Any help is appreciated!

From the look of your photo the inner lip of the guard looks rippled, if that is the case are you already rubbing on the tyre?
You may get more help with your enquiry if you provide the offset and width of the rims and the full specs of the tyres.

A 265 wide tyre will easily fit in the wheel well on the rear of a VE, depending on the offset.
You have a fair bit of 'poke' there, and with the stretched tyre, it looks like the gutter rash is caused by the rim edge rubbing the guard.

Both of you guys are right, the edges of the Rim do rub against the guard but only when I have 3 people in the back, even with two it’s fine, I figured rolling the guards would change that effect but idk how much difference it’ll be once I lower it though.

Rolling the guard's should help, but its the offset that's the biggest problem.
Altering the camber may help, but that will increase tyre wear.

Honestly, lowering the car, you would need to get different offset rims to have any hope of clearing the guards, using the current size rims and tyres....Altering the camber or even guard rolling I can see it will still scrape

I actually made a bit of a mistake reading the tyre measurements both my rears are 255/30R22 95W so it’s 255 rather than 265.

Don't worry about tyre sizes, the rim is the problem, offset is wrong...
