Ticking is constant. Warm, Cold doesnt matter. Also gets faster as revs get higher.
The searches i've done have only returned results for ticking when cold or ticking when warm.
Currently using nulon 10w-40. Tried 10w-60 no difference also tried all types of lifter free.

Has this happened to anyone else or does any one know what it could be?

Sounds like an exhaust gasket problem

At least it didn't take 140 posts to figure this problem out haha.

I have the same problem in my ls1 it's an exhaust leak. Sounds just like a lifter

not sure exactly my mechanic swapped them over after all the work but might just be a repco or exhaust mob part, dont think they cost much at all...
