What do you want the cam for just wank factor or performance?

If for performance List the following

current engine specs, carb or EFI, other engine work
gearbox
diff ratio
wheel & tyre sizes
use of car eg, daily driver etc...

If you just want a lumpy sound a decent exhaust will give you a pretty good note

Car wont be driven daily, im only on my ps so i thought id make it a project, its all stock at the moment except for extractors. for performance and "wank Factor", i just like the sound of lumpy cars, my bro has a gen3 and it sounds sick on idle
Gearbox is a 4sp, it is a vh sle. so im thinking it would have a v8 diff in it? wheel size, it will have 18x8 when i get it.

if driveability isn't an issue, you can use a speedway cam 35/75 or a 30/70. Very rough lumpy idle... absolute pig in traffic though.

3/4 race cam will give you the wank factor you require.

My VH runs stock 202,4 speed M20,3.08 diff,Headers,2 1/4 exhaust and 350 holley.Goes better than stock but most 4 cylinders would blow me away.Have been told that it sounds like a V8.At idle it sounds like 2 plug leads are missing.I drive iy every day and it still turns heads.Saw a stock green VB yesterday parked at a school and saw it driving away with an older bloke driving it.Even I turned my head.
