Max Ellery or Gregory's Manual?

So I was sitting here looking through a Max Ellery Manual before starting work on the VS and I was wondering are the Gregory's manual better and more informative?

For VS or earlier models, buy the gregorys over a max ellery or haynes manual.(ive got all 3 brands of manual here for VN through to VS). The VT and later gregorys manuals are very similar to the haynes manauls, and arent quite as good as the older gregorys manuals.I think haynes bought out gregorys at some stage, and after that, their quality went downhill a bit. Gregorys have always had the best wiring diagrams by far..

eh, just buy both. that way you can cross reference, and one might have stuff not in the other. (i have both)

originally i thought i would buy a gregorys and a haynes. turns out the new ones are both made by haynes so there is 0 difference between them.
so haynes did buy them out.

Gregorys Commodore Lexcen V6 Number 268 for 1995 to 1997 is the best one - the others give generic information in many cases which can get you into trouble.

hako do you think $50 for the 1 you say is better is an ok price??? or do you think id get it cheaper from a wrecker or so on??? ill have a bid on the 1 in my post obove(failing that if you think its worth it? ill just buy the 1 with a buy it now price cheeers
