No you need the nvram board which lets you tune real-time up the aldl port.what vr auto tune are you running ? And is it actually a Vr engine not earlier model they all require different tuning

BLCB5067. Car belongs to a freind so I can't say for sure which engine it is and he bought it second hand so anything is possible. I've been using the 11$ XDF in Tunerpro.
