if you've got a tight LSD and a cop thinks uve got a spool, jack the ass end up. hold one wheel and tell the cop to spin the other wheel. LSD should have enough slack to be able to turn the wheel.

ok, minimum torque required to turn a factory LSD is 65nm otherwise it would be considered to be stufed and in need of a rebuild. no way your going to turn the wheel "by hand" on a properly tightened LSD.

anyway, cops don't get there hands dirty, they just issue infringments and let you prove it to them that they are wrong, then you shell out yur hard earned cash for an inspection to prove em wrong and they don't care:bang: cops should be made to re-imburse those drivers that they wrongly had out canaries too in my opinion

thats what i was told by a performance auto & diff specialist after they showed me. and i had my LSD rebuilt and tighten above factory spec and with enough strength i was able to turn it the slightest bit.

i agree with the 2nd part, you should get your $70-120 (what ever it cost to have the roady test done) reimbursed if your car is completely road worthy

Cheers STEALTHY for the details at Boss Racing Diffs at Lonsdale!

I gave them a call and the ss is booked in next Tuesday! They were pretty helpful on the phone!

Stay tuned everyone! after I get it put in, Ill be back on here for sure to let every one know what I think its like!

Good choice man. Graham knows his stuff!

What exactly are you getting done? He'd usually recommend a ratio change if your going to the trouble of putting a spool in. If so, what ratio are you getting?

As Jecs said ;)

Mine are 3.73s. I was recommended to go 3.9s or 4.11s with the 6 speed, but i left it for now. If it ever need s a freshen up, might change them then.

VN V6, nothing special
so stealthy, you actually own a spool so this question is aimed towards you.. i want it mainly for the control rather then the burnouts because my single is stuffing up(spins 2 sometimes mid corner).....
recommend getting it?

and how much should i be looking at for a drive in/drive out install?
or, does anybody know how easy is it to install yourself? (or anyone in Melbourne that would help me out?)
