dropped the car off 4-5 weeks ago, but it only got started last week due to insurance stuff arounds.

been stealing the old mans car for work.

went to take a look at the car today, some damn good progress for a weeks work i think!!

super keen for the finished product!! you may spot one of my simmons wheels on in the photos, threw it on to gauge fitment for some meaty tyres

decided to give the simmons a much needed polish. i neglected them quite bad when they were on the car last

bit of a before and after here

and all 4 done, just need to get some wider tyres put on them. the stretch did make polishing the edges easy though!!

Is there a wax or other protective coating you can apply to prevent the degradation in the future ?

They were wheel waxed last time they were used, I'm trying to get the lazy ass to do it again once he cleans the centres after new rubber is on.

i never ended up actually putting any on from memory

ordered tyres for them today, theyll go on next week sometime, then ill clean and wax them all up in prep for fitting
