Should be able to swap the fitting over to suit the new connector. It will grip the hose by clamping when screwed in.

you can search for push lock air fittings also to above

Edit: did the new shocks come with the air fitting for the shock?
The fitting seems to be welded/fused to the tube. Same as the screw fitting on the old ones. ARCHM sold them to him, they have gone silent!

Here's an image of it installed on my car. O honestly though the hose screwed onto the fitting. Looks like it's a one piece hose. I have a push lock fitting to the rest of the hose

Yeah that looks similar. Shock specialist here showed me one that looked like it would fit, but only had one! If I could find out what other make/model uses them I would checkout Pickapart! Cheers.

Most airshocks have been replaced with standard items, there are a heap of threads over the years reporting it.

Statesman's and fairlanes had the airshocks 90s and 00s. If they still have them. Try repco or similar auto stores, maybe even truck joints to find the fitting.

This is what you're after

Email the guy in the link I posted. He has experience with doing the modification required. They no longer make them with the same coupling as the Adventra etc.

That’s confusing because Monroe website I linked to in post #5 shows MGR-118 is the correct shock for older commodores (VP, VQ, VR, VS, VT, VX, VY, etc) and with it the AK-18 air line kit…

So the question is what shock do you actually have that requires the AK-29 air line kit and what does the Monroe web site actually spec for your car?

Why ARCHM Bayswater or Monroe itself couldn’t help resolve this for you is beyond incompetence  I weep for this country’s contined decay
