VN V6, nothing special
Does that drop or raise the running pressure? I've heard of people doing that :)
More oil pressure :D if i remember right immorality and delco have also done it.. I know it makes me worry a little less when I have it sitting at 5500 :p lol

Edit: btw i think it cost about 10-15 from holden so its worth giving a go :)

Hey i got 5 Ecotec springs From Holden Mildura, for $25 sent one over to delco, They are great, no more knocks when you get a cold morning startup and it puts your mind at ease knowing you have good oil pressure haha

I may have to look into this one :) will be well worth the investment if there aren't any drawbacks (like flooding the rocker covers 304 style)

:D

Hahaha nah mate, it looks gangster ;) ^_^

meanwhile, I've been tinkering away all night tonight.

Replaced all heater hoses and heater tap (goooood fun this job)
Replaced clutch cable and adjusted to maaad spec
Re-bled cooling system
Installed castor rod bushes with my remaining will to live :)

Have some eye candy:

Old bloated and gutted hoses:

Old stretched and broken clutch cable:

Shiney new castor rod goodness, these should last a while :)

And my little kit for installing super-hard polyeurethane one-piece castor rod bushes and tubes:

Haha cheers dude, I just wish I didn't have a full time job or I'd get a lot more done ^_^ Hats off to the missus for putting up with me :p

Feel free to do my car ;)

lol ^_^ bring it down to Vic and we can discuss a price :p

Meanwhile, I thought I'd throw in some new engine mounts:

And I thought since the castor rod bushes were in, I'd put some new boots on the reco control arms with new pivot and castor bushes :)

Now I just need to get some new strut tops, and get someone with a rattle gun to help me change them over :)

Cheers for tonight ari :)

Went 'round to Ari's workshop and rattled the nuts off the old strut tops ^_^

While we were in there, we salvaged the old gold Monroe GT Sport shocks from my VQ struts and whacked them in these ones :) Parred up with the King springs from the VQ and some brand new Superpro strut tops, it should ride a treat!! (and be roadworthy)

The old shocks were feeeegged. Didn't even return when we pushed them in!!

Now to throw them in the VN :)
