To get that showing on your DIC hold the left hand scroll button down on the steering and keep it pressed while you start the car.

No Leaks whats so ever,Yes Pigs Dipstick,Could have measured wrong first Time.I think it will settle in Time.
Anyone else out there with a 12.5,Last of the VE? L77.

i have a 12.5 auto wagon, i checked my oil a couple of weeks a go and ive used none. i would just keep an eye on it over time and see if it continues, and if it does take it up with the dealer you purchased it from. i cant say mine would use much as it only has 3k on it in 9 months.

You said up the top you would service your car with penrite at 7k, arent you getting it serviced at the stealership.

I think he is just doing at oil and filter change mate not full service.
I do a 7500k on the v6 and 5000k changers on the VS.


And dealers are using 10w30 oil.

Thats right VS Pete,Just Oil and Filter at 7,500,Then 22,500 and so ON,and the Dealer at 15,000 30,000 ETC.
Intermediate Changes I will DO.

Stig,
The old Guys across the road from work showed me a car which was way overdue for oil change 20000k I think it was.
Undid sump plug and poked it with stick to get the oil draining.
Nice clean oil is the go.
