This engine has not been cleaned what so ever the car it came out of was a low k car and in excellent condition.

Engine is now in and have been told I should have the car back by Friday fingers crossed.

Awesome, I replaced the handbrake boot in mine too, you probably bought the exact same one off eBay lol. Looks the same. Anyway you still have to cut holes all the way around where it screws into the centre console from below. Be really careful with the small plastic parts the screws go into as they break really, really easily. I think from memory I used a small amount of tarzans grip to help keep it in place. It also took a little while to soften up and sit properly, but I had to sort of fold it down in as it's a slightly different shape to the original. It's been a year or so and it looks fine apart from one crack across the centre.
