I remember quite a while back a thread on trickle chargers etc. and thought I would take a couple of pics of how I run the wires so I can just plug the charger in instead of the clamps. Couple of clips and grommets, spare 10 minutes and I was happy.
I the wire was longer I could have ran it behind the strut top but had to compromise with the clip solution. Works perfectly, fairly neat and I just slide the adapter back under the guard when I am done.

This is a pretty mild setup compared to some of the crazy stuff you see getting around but it sounds ace and it goes pretty damn good I reckon.

i have only experience 3 V8's in my life. my mum's ZH big block fairlane when i was a kid, my grandpa's range rover, and a previouse co workers VY clubbie. so i have not really experienced much! but i think yours would be awesome

What big block did they put in the zh? 390 , 427 , 428 , 429 or the 460? Were always a cool car I loved the zd myself and almost bought one.

when my dad blew the original 302, he than placed in a 351. with the exhaust the very ground shook as she rumbled on idle. she was an absolute menace to the neighborhood. mum drove her everywhere. but unfortunately the girl got ran over by a tank. still miss her, when i was a kid i called it "the big car" because it was big, looked angry, was too loud for little old me at the time. but it sparked my love for V8's. that's why i am interested in my grandpa's Impala
