Broken valve guide!!! She valve must be getting alot of side load to do that especially the way you drive it. Seems very odd.did any pieces get into the motor or have they stayed put?

**** mate that is no good, the valve must have been broken for a while, and putting force on the glide.

Hey mate yeah u shud see the spring snapped clean in half nothing went into motor and piston is fine, and i dont even drive the thing hard!

Some good has come outa of it looks like im getting complete good heads from oztrack with all the goodies in them (roller rockers ect) will also be getting some tie bar lifters changed at same time, so nothing like getting the problem fixed with a power increase too! gunna be insane when i eventually get a blower on it lol

A good thing there was no other damage mate, new heads sound good.

Heads have been now ordered should be 2 - 3 weeks til they get here, will post pics of them once they arrive

This thing is gunna be crazy to drive when i get the blower on it with my cam and now heads
