Blown VS Calais !!
Mines only taken so long because I'm building 3 cars at the same time
Granted getting parts that are actually worth chasing down to build a replica are extremely rare but actually having the car running and drivable is being held up by finances primarily.

Having said that good luck finding any genuine parts I haven't already got or know about :p

Kal seen your vs is going to be a burnout car.. Have you thought of getting a cheap fiberglass kit for it ? Because the genuine rear bar etc will just fly off and be ruined and rubber will flick up on them.. I think you should have genuine kit for shows etc and a back up kit for burnouts ? Good idea i think.! ;)

I already have 2 genuine bumpers painted up , 1 is mint for general use and the other will be smashed to pieces for burn outs.
I'm more concerned about doors and side skirts to be honest.

I have been using 2 bumpers on my Calais for 6 years , I know all the tricks :)

ive heard masking and glad wrap is a good move for burnout cars, also if you use citrus cleaner on the rubber shot pretty soon after a burnout, it will come off quite easily. i have only heard of these methods and therefore cannot confirm the effectiveness of either. just throwing it out there :)
