Went to a local wrecker guy earlier for a power steering reservoir as mine leaks. $20 and done dusted. He said he knew I had a stock cam from the sound last time I was there in the car. The guy also said my lifters are on their way, but anyway, these numbers will mean something. Quick google told me nothing...

By the style of the markings, it does look like it‘s the OEM cam. The ‘3206’ will probably be the last four digits of the gm part number.

I saw someone selling a similarly marked cam on eBay (us) and they said it was a stock cam out of a LS.

It's not a QR code standard as my Android QR app doesn't recognise it.

Tried to do a quick google search to find a general 2D barcode scanning app that handles various standards but I didn't find anything :(

I guess the part number 2d barcode used by GM is based on the data matrix standard (ISO/IEC 16022) but I can't be certian

Will stick my neck out and say, the 3206 would mean the cam was made on the 32 week of 2006

The s02 and 7134, no idea.

The 3206 I'm going by a previous a previous message I had on another forum with a person that worked for crow cams to do with identifying these sorts of numbers on the back of cams

The matrix thingo is a ‘DataMatrix’ code. It reads ‘3206’ (or hexadecimal 33323036).

Yep, it's most certainly a data matrix code but I've got a headache so trying to manually decode it will do my head in.
And the android app I tried found seems to decode it as "upc_e format" with the encoded data being "11177173".

So i'll trust your decode :p

App deleted from my phone
