Just ordering a barbell. Someone on here mentioned it as well so while we're in there....

Yeah, I mentioned the barbell a little while ago but even earlier I also put up a pic of what the motor could look like if you catch the “while I’m at it disease”

Sometimes I am left wondering if it would be easier to bite the bullet and just pull the motor. That way one can do stuff slowly without the contortions of working in a confined manner under the car Really, we all need access to a hoist… @losh1971 has one

So while waiting for parts I got me soldering iron out. Finished off the Aerpro adaptation. Still one more thing to do but pretty much all there and working.

Ashtray or whatever it is there now works, as I know they played up with stock Aerpro conversions. Covered the door with the material I used for the spears.

Got a brand new surround in piano black. It looks nice but I think the leather look has the edge. No rush...

Still waiting on some bolts, sump gasket and barbell or whatever it's called, but only ordered that yesterday so won't be putting the TM back in till I have that. Sump would be handy to do now but could be done later I guess.

About time these went on the car. Yous will love the chrome strip...

Got all 4 when I got the bonnet many moons ago. They've been stealing space in the garage so yeah, got the time so might as well put em on.

1 didn't survive, got dented and mine is now better, just 1 scratch which might even buff out.

Anyway...

Tried main plug into car loom but window didn't go down so need to swap door loom or something...

Yeah need to see if I can find schematic diagrams for the door wiring. Or just play pot luck and see what wires do what...

So yeah, amazing what you find behind doors parked up in the garage.

Brand new is a Firefly or something do only good for skids...

And I thought I'd chucked this out.

What I used to use when working on pitbikes. Would've helped getting TM out but with no wheels I'm not actually sure how much help it would've been actually...lol

Anyway... back to swapping doors. They need aligning and electrics sorted but I got my lock out of drivers door for new door...
