How are you planning to do the cameras (via what app/hardware?), and yes you should do night vision with a small IR RED set up.

i want to do that with my ipad! haha but im going the alpine multimedia screen with HVAC inbuilt.looks real cool. im thinking of mounting my ipad with a bracket u can buy online. and connect it to my headunit.
