Sooooo. Looks like I will be spending the holidays repairing the Calais. Pulled out of home this arvo, took off, dog ran out in front, swerved and lost control, hit a fence. Just what I needed. Pictures to come, lucky the old mans a panel beater and the brother is a painter. I just need to know a chippy to fix the persons fence.

Yes, very lucky, also very lucky I didn't injure anyone, as I had my daughter in the car as well. Any way here's the damage.







Old man reckons to repair:

2 days labour
new wing mirror
new tail light
paint
Rim.

Will change all rims as my brother has a set of 18s with tyres lying around. Will suffice until I have enough coin to get a whole new set.

good riddance those wheels were ugly as hell haha (although, painting them black did improve them 100%!).

I don't know if it's just the angle of the photo, but the rear wheel looks like it's toeing in - something is probably bent under there.
