More progress...

Faulty fuel pump (a cheap shitty ebay item...... :bang:) caused breaking down on boost, sluggish and rough idle. Brought a new VS L67 pump and runs like a dream... and plenty of bite too :smoking:

Also brought a set of L67 injectors to replace the 'modified' or 'drilled-out' injectors.

More progress again :w00t::w00t:

Recently dyno run on a 2 Bar tune (Origins unknown as it came with the kit):

146kW at the wheels running lean as (due to maxing out the dodgy injectors)
171kW at the wheels running L67 injectors

Running a little rich at idle and at certain places in the rev range yet cruising speeds is fine, definitely could do with some fine tuning though.

I think a Haltech maybe on the cards, anyone have one they want to sell? :idea3:

Well, I've had a major change in direction.

The engine has blown a lot of oil out of rear main seal, after the yanking out the engine and stripping it down it easier to see why. Rings are worn, main bearings (1st and 4th) are worn. Surprisingly the pistons are okay (considering some of the pinging issues I initially had). Good time to replace the balance shaft bearings as they have been noisy for the last 5 or 6 years........

The Supercharger set-up is also coming off and will up for sale within the next few weeks.
