Fantastic colour. Had a Sandman as my wallpaper in that colour for a long time.

Wiper motor relocation

Hello, I am currently building a UC Torana sedan and I would like to hide the wiper motor just as you have done on your Torana. I would like to know what wiper motor you used to hide it in the cowl panel?
Cheers
Danyel.

I used a vn commodore wiper motor I had sitting around in the shed as it was much smaller than the original Torana unit. However, as Ari said, pretty much any wiper motor will do, the smaller the better really. I had to mess around with the linkages to get the sweep right again, but it worked out alright in the end.

Wooooo..! Reading through the last fifteen pages or so I've missed out on, I was hoping to see a glimmer of light as to the colour choice, (maybe even a painted bay?! but nope :p) glad to finally know. ;)
Should looks sweet as, so many hours on this engine bay can definitely say its all been worthwhile.

Just finished reading all 61 pages of this thread and I am in awe of the quality and dedication to detail. You have the undeniable and unquestionable right to a genuine 'built not bought' moniker that few others can rightly claim. Have sub'd to this thread to follow the further progress and the final result.

Simply outstanding craftsmanship that leaves me nearly speechless...
