Not really much to update at the moment. Painted a few bits and pieces satin black yesterday, including the top of the dash. Started rubbing down the outside today, hopefully get most of that finished tomorrow. It's getting painted next Saturday.

3 weeks until deadline.

Interesting to see that you sprayed the underside in what appears to be sound deadener rather than gloss black?

I'm fairly certain that not one single part has been reused in the engine bay.

You have to bear in mind that this is being built to be a street car, not a show pony. I'm really not interested in detailing the underside or the upkeep that's required to keep a detailed undercarriage looking its best. It's actually a ute tub liner, which should be very hard wearing and easy to look after with the odd wash every now and then. Also, I'll admit that the floor pan isn't perfect on this car as it's seen it's fair share of knocking about over the years, so the thick textured finish helps hide a bit of that. At the end of the day, it's neat and tidy underneath and that's all I was after.

Haha, yes the L67 did the job it needed to do, but the time came to step it up a few notches. The engine bay last time, while it was neat, was pretty busy. This time I'm definately going for the less is more approach.

i'd say it would be stone guard.

As above, it's a ute liner.
